More than 20,000 square feet of the patented XF301 covers six rooftops of this LEED Gold building. Sedum and moss blankets cover the 14th floors of the South Tower and the Clegg Road Tower, the 7th floor Garden Podium and 5th floor round roof. The XF301 is very hardy and requires little maintenance. It is flexible in design and can be cut and installed in any pattern.
Majestic Courts is Markham’s first LEED residential building. The development was designed to use approximately 30 per cent less energy and 40 per cent less water, and provide greater indoor and outdoor air quality.
The sustainable design will help reduce ongoing operating costs and has set the bar for sustainable development for new high-density residences in Markham and York Region.
