The Polar bear exhibit at the Toronto Zoo features three rescued bears, Inukshuk, Nikita and Aurora, whose cool den is now covered by the XF301 extensive green roof.
The buildup is standard and fully saturated weighs 12 lbs per square foot.
The Toronto Zoo embraces clean and renewable energy solutions and is a public educator. The green roof, which has many environmental benefits, provides the Zoo with another opportunity to teach sustainable solutions.
